Where do I get an API key?
Section titled “Where do I get an API key?”From the provider’s own site: fal.ai, replicate.com, openrouter.ai, Google AI Studio (Gemini) or platform.openai.com. Create a key there and paste it in Settings, Providers.
Is my key sent anywhere except the provider?
Section titled “Is my key sent anywhere except the provider?”No. The app sends your key only to the provider it belongs to, when you run something or press Test. Keys are kept on this device and are left out of backups.
Generation
Section titled “Generation”Why does a run say it is waiting?
Section titled “Why does a run say it is waiting?”Only a few runs go at once so the app and your providers stay responsive. The rest wait in line and start on their own. Change the number in Settings, General, Limits.
Why is the price an estimate?
Section titled “Why is the price an estimate?”Providers change prices and bill you themselves. The app uses the price on the provider’s page when the model list was last refreshed.
Can I use my own script?
Section titled “Can I use my own script?”Yes. Paste it into Script or import a .fountain file, then press Break into scenes.
How do I export the cut?
Section titled “How do I export the cut?”In Edit, press Export. The cut is rendered in real time on your device, so a long cut takes as long as it runs.
The website did not give me a logo.
Section titled “The website did not give me a logo.”Some sites block reading. Upload the logo yourself in the new kit window or in the Logo card.
How do I move to another computer?
Section titled “How do I move to another computer?”Back up to a folder, Google Drive or Dropbox in Settings, General, then restore on the other computer. Add your API keys again there.
